where is the admin server for the database?

HCL Notes/Domino 8.5 Forum (includes Notes Traveler)

Subject:

The ACL has a property called the admin server.
If you have document locking turned on for the database, Notes will contact the admin server to check if the document is "locked" - opened for editing by another user.
You want the admin server to be your local server for best performance.
